Description
To transfer vinyl to your PC, you will need to install a digital audio editor. Such software is widely available as a free download (such as Audacity), from the internet. This is a simple interface which allows monitoring of volume and balance whilst transferring your audio to your PC hard drive.

Audio editing software includes a level meter which indicates the output level achieved when playing a piece of vinyl. You should adjust the output as necessary via the ‘Level’ control located on the front panel. Always take special note of record levels to ensure optimum recording quality.

This is a cost effective version of the Fono MM and based on the phono amplifier as used in the Brio amplifier.

Simply switch on, sit back and enjoy!

Crystal clear sound inherited from Pioneer’s professional DJ gear ensures your music sounds its best, and with audio files up to 96kHz sampling rate supported, club standard sound is guaranteed. For pro-grade durability, the seamless aluminium casing with extended edges protects the terminals at all times, giving total peace of mind if you gig with your Interface 2.

Any analogue source you can hook up to the Interface 2’s RCA phono/line inputs can easily be captured thanks to Rekordbox normalize technology. So when you’re not DJing, transferring music from disc to computer is quick and easy. For vinyl lovers looking to bridge the gap between hardware and software without losing the immediacy of their analogue gear, the Pioneer Interface 2 delivers the perfect solution.

The RIAA equalization has been split into two stages to minimise interaction. Polyester capacitors have been used in the signal path and polypropylene capacitors are used in the RIAA equalization circuits.

The aesthetic design of the Fono MM was as important as the quality of its electrical capabilities, so it benefits from the same aluminium case as the Rega TTPSU and Fono MC amplifier, giving it a design which offers a familiar feel and moreover brings it in line with its illustrious bigger brothers.
A phono stage, also called a phono pre-amp, provides the connection between the record cartridge/pickup (stylus) and the amplifier.

Turntable cartridges output a very small signal. This signal needs amplifying up to several hundred times the original size before it is loud enough for your amplifier. A phono stage increases the signal level from millivolts to volts.

When vinyl was the standard for audio recording, the phono stage was built-in to receivers and amps, allowing direct connection of a turntable. These days most receivers and amps do not contain a phono stage so a separate unit is needed.

It is a necessity for any turntable without a phono stage already built in. It will also upgrade a basic built-in phono stage in a turntable or amplifier system.

SPEED
The M2 provides best-in-class speed for monitoring live inputs (mic, guitar or keyboard) through your computer, thanks to MOTU's expertly engineered USB drivers, which deliver class-leading, ultra-low 2.5 ms Round Trip Latency (at 96 kHz with a 32 sample buffer).

METERING
When recording and mixing, nothing is more critical than achieving optimum levels. The M2 is the only audio interface in its class with a full color LCD featuring clear, detailed level meters for all inputs and outputs. Enjoy professional-level volume control and feedback to get your sound just right.

LOOPBACK The M2 driver provides convenient loopback channels to your host computer, so you can easily combine computer audio with live mics and/or guitar inputs to stream the combined mix to Youtube or your favorite podcasting platform in real time. Streaming and podcasting has never been easier and better-sounding!

This makes capturing live music really easy, and you will surely love the level of detail and crispness, since all your recordings can be made in the crystal clear 16-bit/44.1kHz audio resolution. Additionally, to get the most out of your recordings, the H2n comes with integrated compressor/limiter, and an analog gain circuit, which protects your recordings from digital clipping. To top it all off, the recorder, even with all these fancy functions, is extremely easy to use: you can access it all via the front panel, which makes it an indispensable tool if you like to capture the sonar environments you put yourself in.

Thanks to its 32-bit float technology, the F2 handles the softest and loudest sounds you can throw at it while avoiding distortion, maintaining low-noise performance, and freeing you from the responsibility of adjusting gain. Recordings ruined by clipped converters and poorly set preamps are things of the past. You don't even have to worry about unintentionally interrupting the F2 because a simple flick of the Hold switch will keep it recording no matter what button you press.

Whereas other F-Series recorders such as the F4, F6, and F8n are centered around an audio bag–ready form factor for location sound recordists, the F2 is tailored for belt-mount and pocket-friendly placement directly on the subject. Even the included lavalier microphone, with its low-profile design and locking connector, is optimized for reliable and visually discreet operation that won't distract the wearer or the videographer. With a headphone output and onboard transport controls, the F2 also allows actors to listen back to recordings to critique their own performances.

From the refreshingly simple one-touch controls to the long battery life and multiple powering options, the F2 is properly equipped to serve you, regardless of your audio background. Whether you need long-duration recording for a podcast, professional audio capture for an interview, a rock-solid system for weddings, or a space-saving setup for vlogs, the F2 is ready to capture your crucial audio at any location.

Plus, its operational simplicity ensures that the F2 will never get in the way of your workflow, be it simple, complex, or always changing. You can feel confident using it as your main recorder or as a backup unit for added safety. After the shoot, transfer your files to a computer via USB, then use the supplied Steinberg WaveLab Cast software to edit, enhance, mix, and export your audio for the world to hear.

The F1 is equipped with a stereo 1/8" mic/line input that delivers plug-in power to small microphones, and a proprietary 10-pin connector that is compatible with all Zoom microphone capsules. It records stereo audio up to 24-bit/96 kHz in BWF-compliant WAV or a variety of MP3 formats, directly to microSD or microSDHC cards. The unit offers a series of one-touch buttons that give you quick access to record level, limiter control, lo-cut filter, and volume output as well as an 1/8" stereo phone/line output jack with a dedicated volume control, and a monochromatic LCD display, which is easy to read even in bright sunlight.

The recorder comes with essential features for videographers including a tone generator for setting levels, sound markers for aligning audio and video, an on-board limiter to keep your levels in check when loud spikes in volume occur, and a Rec Hold function to avoid accidental operation of buttons. A micro-USB port is available for data exchange to and from a computer, as well as for use as an audio interface with a computer or iOS device.

The F1 utilizes two standard AAA alkaline, Lithium, or NiMH rechargeable batteries, or an AD-17 AC adapter (available separately), and offers a run time of up to 6.5 hours with alkaline batteries when using the shotgun mic. The unit ships with a windshield and a stereo cable to connect the recorder to the audio input of the camera.

Ortofon Concorde Club MK2 Cartridge boasts the best specifications and best sound, making it an ideal choice for Club DJs in any environment: studio, broadcast or club. The Club features Special Elliptic stylus that allows for detailed sound quality: Special Elliptic stylus fits better in the groove and therefore has more contact area with the groove itself, extracting more intricate details, than is possible with a Spherical diamond. The Club’s 8 mV output voltage requires less gain from the preamps, providing cleaner sound reproduction and less susceptibility to feedback in live environments. The Club is also recommended for digitalizing purpose: it provides optimal quality and extracts every last detail from vinyl when transferring vinyl to any digital storage media.
